Ingredients

• 2 oz Elijah Craig 1789 Straight Bourbon Small Batch
• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 oz orange juice
• 2 Tbsp maple cardamon simple syrup*
• 2 dashes bitters
• Goslings Ginger Beer 
• Rosemary sprig, for garnish
• Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
• Star anise, for garnish
• Orange wheels, for garnish
• *Maple cardamon simple syrup: Combine ¼ cup water, ½ cup pure maple syrup, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and ½ teaspoon ground cardamon in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Boil for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat and cool. Refrigerate in a covered container.

Directions

1. Combine the first four ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Shake and strain into a rocks glass.
3. Add bitters and top with ginger beer.
4. Garnish with rosemary sprig, cinnamon sticks, star anise and orange wheels.
