Tequila Sunrise
The tequila sunrise is a picture-perfect cocktail made for the beach, poolside, brunch and, of course, garnished with tiny umbrellas! It’s undoubtedly the prettiest classic cocktail. To get the “sunrise” effect, don’t stir the drink after adding the grenadine.
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila
- 4 oz orange juice
- ½ oz grenadine
- Maraschino cherry, for garnish
- Orange slice, for garnish
Directions
- Combine first two ingredients in a Collins glass filled with ice.
- Slowly add grenadine so it sinks to the bottom of glass.
- Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
