Old Scout is our family of sourced whiskies and we’re big fans of this style of rye from Indiana. When we bring the casks back to West Virginia we cherry pick our favorites to make the cut for our Rye Single Barrel Releases. Every cask is as unique as a snowflake, or a fingerprint, or the personalities at the distillery. One thing that’s for certain, though; we take our selecting of the best of what’s available of this famous high-rye mash bill very seriously. Way more seriously than we take ourselves, we promise. Flavors of dill, mint, black tea, honey and baking spice.
