The Penn’s Woods cocktail was crafted by the distillers at Bluecoat Gin, which is made right here in Pennsylvania. This drink is bursting with herbaceous flavors, balanced by fresh lime juice, and garnished with a sprig of dill for a garden-fresh finish.
- 1 ½ oz Bluecoat Gin
- ¼ oz Spatola Vermouth Extra Dry
- ¾ oz Penn’s Woods syrup*
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- Club soda
- Dill sprig, for garnish
*Penn’s Woods Syrup: Combine ½ cup fresh dill, ¼ cup fresh basil, 2 tablespoons ground coriander and 2 cups simple syrup in a blender. Blend, strain and refrigerate in an airtight container.
- Combine first four ingredients in a shaker filled with ice; shake vigorously.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with soda.
- Garnish with dill sprig.
