Lazy Sunday Sour
Just like its name, this cocktail is perfect for winding down the weekend. The combo of cabernet sauvignon and apple-flavored brandy are sublime for sipping in late winter or early spring. Shaking without ice first creates the rich foam topping.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1 oz E and J Apple Flavored Brandy
- 1 egg white
- ¼ oz cinnamon syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura Bitters, for garnish
Directions
- Chill a coupe glass.
- Combine all ingredients, except for garnish, in a shaker; shake vigorously.
- Fill shaker with ice and shake again.
- Double strain into prepared glass.
- Garnish with bitters.
