Bourbon Crusta
A crusta is a cocktail that contains a spirit, lemon juice, sugar & aromatic bitters — traditionally served in a sugar-rimmed glass with a citrus twist as garnish. We're using Luxardo Liqueur for the sweetness, which adds depth to the vanilla & caramel flavors of the bourbon. A delightful sip year-round.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Larceny Straight Bourbon
- ½ oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- ½ oz triple sec
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Lemon twist, for garnish
- Raw sugar, for garnish
Directions
- Rim a chilled coupe glass with sugar; set aside.
- Combine all ingredients, except for garnish, in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake and strain into prepared glass.
- Garnish with lemon twist.
