Rebel Cask Strength Single Barrel is handcrafted according to the original 1849 ‘wheated’ recipe from what would become the famous Stitzel-Weller Distillery, and then bottled at Cask Strength (120-126 proof) to deliver a more complex flavor with a defiantly smooth finish. Because each hand-picked barrel of Rebel Cask Strength Single Barrel is unique, the exact flavor profile can vary from barrel to barrel. However, the taste signature will generally consist of a golden amber appearance, notes of oak and honey with overtones of caramel & vanilla on the finish.
