Product Highlights
Born in 1875, Prosper Delord started as an itinerant distiller, carting around his still from farm to farm. He later married Marie Duffau and they established the business in Lannepax. Prime owners of 70 acres of vineyards in the best soils of the Bas Armagnac, also known as the 1st Cru, the Delord / Marie Duffau family has been growing vines, distilling, ageing and blending for four generations.
A good combination of Colombard, Ugni Blanc, Baco and Folle Blanche, a single slow distillation process, at low temperature, the use of Limousin oak and Gascon oak for good tannins, great color and beautiful spices, give these Bas Armagnac a fabulous reputation.
This Armagnac is fresh and lively, with flavors of cocoa, orange rind and cake batter.

Expert Reviews
This offers a mix of fresh and dried-fruit aromas and a slightly resiny nose. Its juicy apple cider, vanilla and toasty baking-spice notes suggest this would be a fine choice for mixing- into a mulled brandy punch for winter parties. Hard wax cap.
