This is a blend of 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, coming from one of the best sites in the state.   The aromas start off with notes of vanilla and sweet barrel spices followed by black fruit and herbs. There's grace and precision to the elegantly styled red- and black-fruit flavors. The barrel notes seem very forward at present. Give it some time in bottle for them to integrate.
