Wafting from the glass with elegant floral tones, the 2018 Viognier Powerline Estate expresses a fresh, clean and ripe profile of tropical fruit and stone fruit essences that emanates with aromas of vanilla, white peach and honeysuckle. Full-bodied and with 15% alcohol, the palate displays an impressive balance; the generosity of the wine is in harmony with the structure, offering elements of cream soda, candied apple and fresh citrus blossom. The wine ends with a long, textural finish with a kiss of sweetness and phenolic bitterness. The wine rested for 18 months in barrels, on the lees in 17% new demi-muids. Bravo, it’s rockin’ good!
