Very pale yellow with pristine expression of fruit. Immediately showing great balance of sweetness and acidity, a bit creamier than the Kabinett, lovely stone fruit, very elegant with that kick from the well known Graacher acidity. Good length with a bright and mouthwatering finish.

The 2021 Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese is very clear, bright and elegant on the saline and beautifully balanced nose that delivers bright and quite intense fruit aromas intermingled with weathered slate and also citrus aromas. On the palate, this is a round and intense, mouth-filling and lush, almost creamy-textured Himmelreich with a long, complex and saline finish. It needs some time, though.
