Vivid magenta. Ripe red fruit, floral, mocha and spice qualities on the perfumed nose. Supple black raspberry, cherry cola and spicecake flavors are supported by a core of juicy acidity. Shows very good clarity and a lingering cherry note on the velvety, clinging finish, which is framed by round, even tannins. Drink 2021 through 2027.

Very pretty aromas of roses and cherries lead into a taut, tart wine mixing rhubarb and sour cherries. The tannins are well managed and bring a thin streak of coffee liqueur through the finish. The vinification included one-third whole clusters and aging in 19% new French oak.
