Aromatic and interesting from the first sniff on, this blends flavors of red berries, brown spices, and threads of cola and iron. The tannins are soft and supple, beautifully rendered. The ferment included 30% whole clusters, and the finished wine spent almost a full year in one quarter new French oak.
