This joven mezcal is unaged and crystal clear. On the nose there are pronounced aromas of ripe fruit, bell pepper, honey, wet stone and smoldering campfire. The palate is lively with rounded notes of cooked agave, caramelized pineapple and fresh herbs that give way to a subtle, smoky-smooth finish and a full mouthfeel. Roasted for five to eight days in underground pits before a 10-day to two-week fermentation. Double distilled.
