I like the lightly spicy, forest-fruit and leafy character that colors the ripe red fruit from start to finish here. Medium-to full-bodied with orangey, spicy freshness and only slightly firm tannins. Chestnut-honey notes come through on the finish. With a bit of air, this shows some real complexity and progression. Delicious even now, but will be better in 2023.
