On the palate hot, with predominantly flavours of dried fruits and walnuts, with good acidity and an exquisite long finish.

Expert Reviews
Hazelnut and walnut husk notes give this a dry edge to start, while more flattering toffee, sesame and cinnamon flavors emerge on the back end. Long echoes of powdered ginger and juniper linger. On the drier side, this leaves a mouthwatering feel. Drink now. 200 cases made, 50 cases imported.

Produced from the two vineyards that also supply Dow's Vintage Ports, this is a surprisingly light, fresh wine considering its age. It is bright-eyed with acidity and perfumed toffee and raisin flavors, a wine that can be drunk now.
