Expert Reviews
Effusive, youthful nose of lemon and acacia blossom that’s very hard to resist! Concentrated and super-elegant palate with spot-on balance. Long wet-stone and flint finish with great tension. Excellent aging potential! From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The 2019 La Fremine is a texturally charming, tranquil wine in the mouth. It spent 12 months in barrel, followed by six months in wooden tanks. Bâtonnage added richness, body, and a layer of sweet, nutty flavors and spice. The finish is fine and textural with sinew and acid-drive, providing length. It’s starting to open up and soften, but a little less oak would be welcome. Drink 2023 through 2030.
