Cutty Sark starts with Scotland’s finest single malts, predominantly selected from Speyside, the cradle of single malt whisky distillation. These fine single malts are then blended with top quality grain whiskies and matured in American oak casks to add greater subtlety and complexity to the flavor. Once matured, the blend is married, a traditional process most distilleries no longer spend the time on, but one that Cutty Sark insists upon to ensure harmonization of color and flavor in the final blend.
