Bacon Whiskey Marshmallow Toffee Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 c salted butter
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Crown Royal Vanilla Canadian Whisky
  • 12-oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 slices crispy bacon, chopped
  • 10-oz package mini marshmallows

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325˚ F.
  2. Line large baking sheet with foil and arrange crackers in rows making sure they don’t overlap.
  3. Melt butter in saucepan over medium-high heat and gradually stir in brown sugar and whiskey. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Don’t let burn.
  4. Remove from heat and pour over crackers.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips over the caramel. Let sit for 5 minutes to melt, then use a rubber spatula to spread chocolate chips evenly over the crackers.
  6. Sprinkle bacon and mini marshmallows over top.
  7. Freeze for 2 to 4 hours.
  8. Remove foil and break into pieces.
