Tasting Notes
Vintage dated each year, the Domaine Carneros Brut cuvée represents the best of Carneros pinot noir and chardonnay made into a classic sparkling wine. The cuvée intertwines lovely flavors of lemon blossom, honeydew melon, ripe peaches and pears. Toasted nuts, caramel and hints of baking spice add to the complexity. The wine finishes with the signature creamy flavors for which Domaine Carneros is famous. Our Winemaker believes this to be one of the best oyster wines in the world although the wine is extraordinarily versatile. Complementing a wide variety of seafood, poultry and duck it also pairs surprisingly well with filet mignon, steak tartare and Asian dishes.
