Tasting Notes
The champagne of success and glamour since 1743! Renowned for its achievements and legendary pioneering spirit, synonymous with both cherished traditions and modern pleasures. Faithful to its innovative spirit and seizing the opportunity of summer consumption, this breakthrough creation is the first rosé champagne created to be served over ice. Comprised of a majority of pinot noir wines (45%-55%, of which 10% is red) — angular and vinous, these wines were chosen for both the intensity of the fruit and the structural integration of the dosage. Next are meunier wines (35%-45%, of which 10% is red) — round and fleshy, these wines were selected to add richness and middle notes of harmony and suppleness. Chardonnay wines (5%-10%) round it with a polished acidity for a refreshing finish.
A vivid pink color with golden highlights. The intense, fruity bouquet is mainly fragrant red berries and cherries (Morello cherry, lingonberry, cranberry), some nuances of juicy summer fruits (fig, nectarine) and an appetizing note of grenadine. A luscious palate combining sweetness and firmness, a harmonious balance of fruitiness, freshness and a refreshing finish with a deliciously bittersweet note of pink grapefruit. Pairs well with rich foods and spicy flavors, such as tacos, deviled eggs, fruit desserts and pastries. The perfect champagne for brunch or poolside.
