The 2018 Sestina is a blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc. The nose explodes with aromas of generously layered juicy dark cherry and rich and ripe black raspberry essence with dusty plum blossoms in the glass. Full-bodied and with fine-grained tannins that will remain food-friendly for almost two decades, the wine shows a fantastic mineral tension on the palate with sweet brown baking  spices. The wine glides to an ever-evolving, dusty finish that strides with power and precision. The wine   rested for 20 months in approximately 50% new French oak. Just over 4,000 bottles were filled. Stunning!
