Aberlour 18 is matured concurrently in Sherry butts and American oak barrels for a minimum of 18 years in each, absorbing deep flavors of rich spiciness and soft, sweet vanilla from the different woods. When each butt and barrel come to their perfect peak of maturation, they are subtly married together to create this fine double cask matured whiskey.

Nose: Rich and Complex: notes of toffee and butterscotch combine with ripe peach and bitter orange.
Palate: Perfect structure. Initial notes of soft apricot and cream are offset by developing flavors of old leather and oak with a touch of honey.
Finish: Very long and balanced: progresses from crème brulee to a gentle oak flourish.
