Inky garnet in color, this wine has aromas of blackberry, Red Delicious apple peel and vanilla. It feels nice in the mouth, with opulent tannins and flavors of black cherry, raspberry, cherry pipe tobacco, clove and mint. There is a nice touch of salinity on the drawn-out finish.
